Senior/Mid Gameplay Programmer – System Shock

RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Work closely with designers, artists, and other team members to create high quality features
    • Create or improve tools as necessary to support specific features/systems.
    • Continuously test, debug, profile, analyze, and optimize across all applicable platforms.
    • Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of game production and development.
REQUIREMENTS
      • A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in the games industry.
      • Deep familiarity with Unreal Engine 4
      • Solid working knowledge of all technical aspects of game development assisting the leadership of programmers outside of core expertise.
      • At least one shipped modern console or PC title in the Senior Programmer role.
      • Expert in C++
      • Console experience with Unreal.
      • Must be able to work remotely from home.

Mid/Senior Systems Designer – System Shock

RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Work closely with programmers, artists, and other team members to create high quality features
      • Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of game production and development.
      • Create thorough documentation for systems and features.
      • Participate in regular Vulcan mind melds with the Game Director.
REQUIREMENTS
      • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the video game industry.
      • Advanced understanding of mathematics, balance systems, and Excel.
      • Able to develop and champion a strong design vision for a game system from concept to completion
      • Able to work creatively in a demanding technical environment.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Must be able to work remotely from home.

      • Strong sense of level design, scale, and gameplay flow
