Senior/Mid Gameplay Programmer – System Shock

    • Work closely with designers, artists, and other team members to create high quality features
    • Create or improve tools as necessary to support specific features/systems.
    • Continuously test, debug, profile, analyze, and optimize across all applicable platforms.
    • Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of game production and development.
      • A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in the games industry.
      • Deep familiarity with Unreal Engine 4
      • Solid working knowledge of all technical aspects of game development assisting the leadership of programmers outside of core expertise.
      • At least one shipped modern console or PC title in the Senior Programmer role.
      • Expert in C++
      • Console experience with Unreal.
      • Must be able to work remotely from home.
      • Passionate about the System Shock series
      • AAA game development experience
      • Worked with slate/UI
      • Console game development experience
      • Managed remote teams previously
      • Familiar with serialization in Unreal


Character Artist – System Shock


Here at Night Dive studios we are looking for a few self motivated, highly disciplined, Senior character artists to join our fully remote System Shock family. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, can deliver high quality character and weapon assets quickly and is familiar with both AAA and indie development.  With the bulk of our developers in the west coast of the United States a maximum of an 8 hr time zone difference is prefered but not required.

      • Experience with Unreal 4
      • Expert knowledge of either Maya, Modo or Max and Zbrush
      • Ability to work with the Art Director, iterate and develop efficient asset pipelines to ensure consistency and quality
      • Manage character assets from concept, rigging, animation, etc.
      • Expert knowledge of at least one tool of PBR texturing (Painter / Quixel)
      • Strong work ethic and the ability to work remote
      • At least 5-10 years’ experience in the game industry or other relevant experience
      • Proactive personality
      • Maya
      • Rigging / Animation Experience in Maya
      • A love of Science Fiction and the System Shock universe
      • Shipped FPS title
